At the end of the A-Level teaching period in class 13, my students gave me a book. Or better said, a road trip diary. Which is one of the writing projects that they have to hand in while in upper school.
And in it are some writing prompts which I will use to fill this part of the blog.
No.1 Become a headline queen – like L. Find a catchy headline for each month of your sabbatical.
No. 2 Write an outline of the day, leaving Germany, focusing on the emotions you had.
No.3 Compare your first morning in the new country to a famous novel setting.
No. 4 List three words in the native language of wherever you are that sound beautiful and define them in English without the direct translation.
No. 5 Write a review for the book that you are currently reading.
No. 6 List all the commercials you especially noticed today and analyze the means used to attract attention.
No. 7 Describe a recent clumsy event in V.’s elaborate style.
No. 8 Draft a script for an advertisement for becoming an English teacher.
No. 9 Watch the sunrise and write a detailed picture description.
No. 10 Write an email to the current English LK outlining the best advice for f/nailing the exam.
